The Best Wedding Gifts for Brides & Grooms: What’s On My Wedding Registry
As you guys know, I’ve been living out of a suitcase for the last 3 years, which means when it comes to basic household necessities I have NOTHING! (and even though Kenny and I will be traveling just as much as ever, we do want to have a home when we get married (hah!) we need a place to put all our stuff!)
Since I’m starting from scratch when it comes to building out our first home, doing our registry was one of my absolute favorite parts of wedding planning. (Along with finding my wedding dress, and designing our save the dates and invitations!) and I’m so excited about the gifts we’re starting to get from our loved ones. Here are some of my favorite things from my registry – which make for great gifts for any upcoming weddings you’re attending, your own registry, or just a gift to yourself!
BTW – did you know everything on Zola is on sale right now?
Are you or do you know a couple getting married this summer or later this year? Now is definitely the time to look up their registry on Zola – everything is 20% off with the code ZOLAFAM.
Here are my registry must-haves:
As you guys know, I love wine. I go to Napa Valley probably more than anyone you’ve ever met, and am always researching new wine brands to fall in love with.
If you gift a couple who loves wine a wine fridge, they’ll think of you every time they pop open a bottle of champagne or wind down with a really good cabernet. How great of a gift is that?
My future mother-in-law introduced me to Shun knives – and they are the best of the best! Seriously, cooking with these is a DREAM, and I’m dying to have my own set. This is an expensive gift, but it’s good to have a few splurge-worthy gifts on your registry, and a good knife set that will last you FOREVER is a must for any wedding gift wishlist.
Silverware & Steak Knives
Don’t forget to have silverware on your registry! I love these classic ones from WS.
I’m obsessed with our Espro P7 and think it’s the most beautiful and DELICIOUS french press on the planet. I have been using it every day for my morning blended island coffee. Cannot recommend this french press highly enough – it’s a must have on your registry if you like coffee.
Blender and a juicer in one? YES PLEASE. So you can juice your fruits and put them straight into your smoothies, or just use one or the other. Also works amazing for margaritas, frose, and other frozen cocktails!
I’ve been hearing about these weighted blankets EVERYWHERE this year. Weighted blankets are surging in popularity thanks to their ability to relieve stress and improve sleep, which if you ask me seems like something we could all use.
I chose these gorgeous Vietri gold plates for our dinnerware on our registry. I think they are so beautiful and perfect for entertaining.
The best wine glasses have the ability to completely amplify a wine’s taste – and let’s face it, they’re so elegant you’re probably already planning your first dinner party – or blind wine tasting party.

If you can’t tell already, I love white and gold, so I have a ton of marble and gold goodies on my registry – like this vanity tray
I love a good girls’ wine and cheese night, so this one was a must for my registry.
also these cheese knives
I’m a sucker for anything monogrammed, and this cutting board is going to be a staple in my kitchen.
A tea kettle
I’m obsessed with everything SMEG, and am so excited about this tea kettle. How cute is their retro brand vibe?
If we’re going retro-chic with the SMEG brand, I gotta have the coffee machine too right?
Nothing beats a Dyson vacuum. This one is a MUST on any registry. And is one of the top gifts on my wish list.
What better gift for the honeymoon than matching suitcases?
Or, if you want to splurge – these ROAM suitcases are my absolute favorite high-quality suitcase out there right now.
