Aruba makes for an amazing honeymoon destination. It’s just big enough you can rent a jeep and explore, but small enough you can relax and your hotel and call it a day. If you’re looking for the ultimate in luxury in Aruba , you’re definitely going to want to stay at the Ritz-Carlton. I love all Ritz-Carltons, as they always seem to go above and beyond when it comes to service, but the Ritz Aruba was incredible. Not to mention one of the most beautiful resort pools on the island, and servers who serve you your drink on beach segways (yes, seriously, so funny). I think this is the perfect hotel for couples on their honeymoon in Aruba.

The Best Luxury Resorts on a budget in the Caribbean for a honeymoon that don’t sacrifice luxe-ness

Excellence El Carmen, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Excellence Group’s newest contemporary, chic adults-only all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, El Carmen boasts 22 pools, super-spacious suites, and gorgeous resort facilities everywhere you look. It never feels crowded, with tons of spacious, open areas (my favorite area to hang out in was the skybar, this gorgeous area overlooking the beach and pool where no one ever was!) And the highlight of the resort is absolutely the rooms, which are your own private honeymoon oasis. Highly recommend any of the room categories with a private pool!

Young Island Resort, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

This gorgeous resort is located on its own private 35-acre island surrounded by powder-soft beaches, and featuring 29 airy, hillside cottages and a pool, spa, tennis court, as well as a superb outdoor restaurant. The honeymoon suite at the top-of-the-hill – the Duvernette Suite, has its own infinity pool and a furnished sundeck, making for a splurge-worthy suite if you want the the best room in the house.
