The 10 Best Babymoon Hotels In the USA

Babymoons (or a ‘pre-baby honeymoon’) are becoming increasingly popular with expecting couples, and why wouldn’t they be?! Babymoons are like a honeymoon 2.0, a time to get away for expecting moms and their partners to reconnect before welcoming their new baby into the world! And let’s face it – You deserve one last luxe romantic vacation together before you become a party of three (or four!). A babymoon is a great opportunity to disconnect from the world and connect with each other (and your growing baby!), not to mention relax after a stressful period of life where everything is changing, and to re-center yourselves before the biggest new chapter of your life.  When it comes to planning the perfect luxurious babymoon, the last thing you want when you’re 6 months pregnant is a hectic travel day, or worse, a chaotic destination where you don’t get to fully relax. Choosing to travel while pregnant within the United States will make it much easier on your, your doc, and your spouse – and there’s no reason why you can’t have the BEST time without even needing your passport. The United States has some of the best resorts in the world when it comes to relaxing and rejuvenating. Whether you’re a nature lover or a shop-a-holic, you’re in good hands here.

THE BEST RESORTS FOR A BABYMOON IN THE USA

1. Rosewood Miramar Beach, Santa Barbara California

Santa Barbara is one of the most calming destinations on the West Coast. There’s something about this intimate Spanish Colonial-style city with a palm tree-lined waterfront that makes you feel instantly at ease. From craft eats at restaurants like Bouchon and The Lark to the exquisite waterfront accommodations at Rosewood Miramar Beach. The beachfront suites and intimate dining experiences themselves would be plenty to keep you entertain, but you’ll also have access to the Forbes 5-star Sense Spa! This hotel is the perfect escape from city living where you can slow down before life ramps up.

2. The Four Seasons Maui, Hawaii

Hawaii is such a great option for any west coast couples looking for a change of scenery and some tropical energy. I cannot picture a more perfect baby-moon destination than the Four Seasons Wailea. With five-star service, incredible food, and absolutely everything you could need for a relaxing vacation at your fingertips, there’s no wonder this hotel is such a popular choice with babymooners (and Hawaii honeymooners)!! The last time we visited the FS Maui, there were SO many happy babymooners, enjoying the sun, the unbeatable views, and the world-class service. The FS Maui has thought of everything to make babymooners feel ultra-comfortable, from neonatal massages in the spa, to the 15, 30 and 50 SPF available complimentary at every pool, so you never have to worry about getting too much sun on your bump.

3. Post Ranch Inn, Big Sur California

Hands down one of the most luxurious, one-of-a-kind lodging experience in all of California, the Post Ranch Inn was built to blend in with its redwood coastal surroundings. This rejuvenation haven was designed exclusively for secluded adult getaways, and makes for the perfect babymoon resort in the US. Activities here range from hiking and yoga, to farm to table dining and stargazing. Hello, heaven!
