The Best Maternity Swimsuits – All of My Favorite One Pieces & Bikinis for Pregnancy and Postpartum

One question I get DM’d a lot is what are the best pregnancy swimsuits. A lot of us are pregnant over the summer, or planning a beach babymoon, and we want to look cute while getting our bump a little sun! But, we DEFINITELY want to be comfortable, too. And there’s nothing worse than a tight bikini cutting into you at all the wrong places and making you uncomfortable while you’re just trying to relax, sip on your mocktail, and read Bringing Up Bebé. So, these are the bikinis I’d recommend for pregnancy, because I LIVED In these bikinis and one pieces throughout my pregnancy!

Crinkle Bikinis & One Pieces

This AMAZING fabric, in particular, was my favorite because I didn’t even have to size up – it stretched with me throughout pregnancy, and into postpartum too, and is SO flattering and comfy. I found myself not reaching for anything else all summer long!

This one piece is soooo stretchy and comfy – it was my favorite on our babymoon.

The same material comes in a bikini if you want to get your bump some sun!

What styles of bikini are good for pregnant belly bumps?

I would recommend either a one piece that covers the bump or a low-rise bikini bottom that fits under the bump. You’ll want to stay away from high-waist styles and anything that hits too high on the belly! A great (soft!!! and stretchy!!) fabric is also KEY! Here are a few more of the best swimsuits I wore throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

I personally loved a bandeau top and sporty bottom combo while pregnant! Here’s what I wore on our babymoon in Maui.

What style swimsuits are best for postpartum?

I once again was obsessed with crinkle fabric suits postpartum for the stretch and FLATTERING fit!!! This bikini was one of my absolute favorites (and still is) the quality & fit is unmatched!

I also loved a halter one piece like this one below that covered (and flattered) my belly, and the deep V was IDEAL for breastfeeding on the beach!!! Note that if you have bigger boobs you probably need to wear some fashion tape with this one! (that’s what I do!)
