Where to Stay in Cabo with a Toddler – the Best Luxury Family Resorts in Los Cabos

When you’re planning a trip to Cabo as a family, picking the right place to stay is key. You want somewhere that will be fun for the littles but also relaxing for you!!!! And the whole fam. For young families looking to enjoy Cabo’s beauty without compromising on the luxe life, Los Cabos offers some absolutely INCREDIBLE luxury resorts that I’m absolutely obsessed with – especially traveling with our toddler. Here are my top 4 recommendations for luxury family resorts in Los Cabos where the toddlers are treated as VIPs, and the parents can relax, sit back with a frozen marg, and enjoy.

Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal

Waldorf Astoria Pedregal was one of my favorite luxury resorts in Cabo before I had kids, and even more so now that I have been there with my son. I highly recommend Waldorf Astoria Pedregal for families for the spacious rooms (each one with a private pool!!!!), the family-friendly atmosphere, and the prime location. For older kids, they have a special club for kids called Tortuguitas Kids Club where your little ones can do lots of fun stuff like watching movies, going on treasure hunts, learning to cook, and playing in the sand.

The resort definitely understands that family vacations are also about creating spaces for parents to unwind and reconnect. With unbeatable amenities like private plunge pools and luxurious spa treatments, you’ll be in heaven here. I also love that the family pool at this resort is AMAZING – and no less amazing than the normal adult pool (see below!) – it’s a huge plus.

JETSET TIP: want to see your toddler’s jaw drop? Book a floating breakfast in your plunge pool – we had so much fun doing it with Harrison!

Chileno Bay Resort & Residences

Next on the list is Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, which is another great choice for kiddos. This is the ultimate resort where families can dive into the clear waters of the Sea of Cortez, and a must-visit for snorkelers and swimmers of all ages. Their resort has a Pescaditos Kids Club that offers eco-friendly crafts and educational adventures allowing kids to explore and learn all about the natural beauty of Baja. Parents, meanwhile, can indulge in the spa (it was incredible!!!).

Chileno Bay’s rooms range from spacious one- and two-bedroom suites to expansive villas, ensuring families of any size find their perfect fit. And you’ll see families everywhere at this resort!! My toddler’s favorite part was the beach, where there was a basketball hoop and more activities for him to join in on. Chileno Bay offers tons of of activities to choose from like snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking available right at your doorstep. Other unique experiences includes surf expeditions, sunrise stand-up paddle boarding, and a desert canyon adventure.

One&Only Palmilla

One&Only Palmilla is one of my favorite places to stay in Los Cabos. It nails the Old-Mexico charm and character in such a beautiful way, with all of the modern amenities you crave, and five star service you know to expect from a One&Only. For older kids, they have a Kids Only program for kids aged four to eleven wherein they can participate in a variety of activities, including treasure hunts, cookie baking, sandcastle building, and even lizard hunts!! The program, which adapts its hours according to the season, provides ample opportunity for kids to learn and play in a safe and fun environment.

The resort also offers amazing family amenities like babysitting services, a dedicated kids’ pool, and special themed meals for children! What I love about this resort the most is how their rooms are designed with families in mind, there’s a ton of space, and cribs and baby and toddler amenities, of course. Plus, the beach and pool provide a perfect backdrop for family fun, with a swimmable beach and water toys to keep the little ones entertained.

Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection

Lastly, Esperanza, an Auberge Resort is renowned for its luxury accommodations, exquisite dining options, and breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez, making it a sought-after destination for families looking for that blend of relaxation and adventure in Los Cabos. It’s a family-friendly luxury resort I highly recommend because of the privacy it offers where kids can run freely. They also offer complimentary kids’ meals and club activities during the summer to flexible accommodation options and babysitting services. What I love most is the dedicated kids and teens’ clubs, along with activities like stand-up paddleboarding and guided cycling excursions that kids (and even parents) will absolutely enjoy!
