Where to Stay in Cabo with a Toddler – the Best Luxury Family Resorts in Los Cabos
When you’re planning a trip to Cabo as a family, picking the right place where to Stay in Cabo is key. You want somewhere that will be fun for the littles but also relaxing for you!!!! And the whole fam. For young families looking to enjoy Cabo’s beauty without compromising on the luxe life, a trip to Cabo, Los Cabos offers some absolutely INCREDIBLE luxury resorts that I’m absolutely obsessed with – especially traveling with our toddler. Here are my top 4 recommendations for luxury family resorts in Los Cabos where the toddlers are treated as VIPs, and the parents can relax, sit back with a frozen marg, and enjoy!!!
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal
Waldorf Astoria Pedregal was one of my favorite luxury resorts in Cabo before I had kids, and even more so now that I have been there with my son. I highly recommend Waldorf Astoria Pedregal for families for the spacious rooms (each one with a private pool!!!!), the family-friendly atmosphere, and the prime location. For older kids, they have a special club for kids called Tortuguitas Kids Club where your little ones can do lots of fun stuff like watching movies, going on treasure hunts, learning to cook, and playing in the sand.
The resort definitely understands that family vacations are also about creating spaces for parents to unwind and reconnect. With unbeatable amenities like private plunge pools and luxurious spa treatments, you’ll be in heaven here. I also love that the family pool at this resort is AMAZING – and no less amazing than the normal adult pool (see below!) – it’s a huge plus.
JETSET TIP: want to see your toddler’s jaw drop? Book a floating breakfast in your plunge pool – we had so much fun doing it with Harrison!
Zadun, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is one of those rare Los Cabos stays that feels impossibly luxe yet genuinely magical with little ones in tow. For toddlers and young kids, the kids club is a dream ! Their kids program is Ambassadors of the Environment, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve signature experience created in partnership with Jean-Michel Cousteau, and it’s genuinely special. The program focuses on hands-on nature exploration, ocean conservation, local culture, and creative play, which makes it feel more meaningful than a typical hotel kids club. Children ages 4 and up can be dropped off independently, while younger toddlers are welcome to participate with a parent or caregiver present, which is perfect if your little one isn’t quite ready for solo drop-off yet. Activities range from tide pool exploration and mock archaeology digs to crafts, gardening, cooking experiences, and beach discovery walks. The villas and suites are incredibly spacious for naps and early bedtimes, the pools are calm and spread out (not chaotic), and room service makes those “we’re done by 6pm” nights effortless. It’s one of those rare places where your child is genuinely engaged and learning, while you still get that elevated, peaceful, barefoot Cabo luxury. The villas are spacious and serene for naps, room service is next-level for early dinners, and the quiet pools make splashing feel peaceful instead of overwhelming. It’s the kind of place where your toddler is delightfully entertained, and you still get that blissed-out, sunset-spritz, barefoot-luxury Cabo energy. A true rare gem for family travel done beautifully.

One&Only Palmilla
One&Only Palmilla is one of my favorite places to stay in Los Cabos. In fact, it might be my #1 favorite. To me, it nails the Old-Mexico charm and character in such a beautiful way, with all of the modern amenities you crave, and five star service you know to expect from a One&Only. For older kids, they have a Kids Only program for kids aged four to eleven wherein they can participate in a variety of activities, including treasure hunts, cookie baking, sandcastle building, and even lizard hunts!! The program, which adapts its hours according to the season, provides ample opportunity for kids to learn and play in a safe and fun environment.
The resort also offers amazing family amenities like babysitting services, a dedicated kids’ pool, and special themed meals for children! What I love about this resort the most is how their rooms are designed with families in mind, there’s a ton of space, and cribs and baby and toddler amenities, of course. Plus, the beach and pool provide a perfect backdrop for family fun, with a swimmable beach and water toys to keep the little ones entertained.

Montage Los Cabos
Perched above one of the few truly swimmable beaches in Cabo, Montage Los Cabos is one of my go-to recommendations for families who want five-star everything without sacrificing ease with little ones. The property is beautifully spread out, so it feels private and peaceful, but still incredibly stroller-friendly, and the rooms and residences are some of the most spacious in Cabo, which makes a huge difference when you’re traveling with a toddler (think separate living areas, terraces, and plenty of room to actually relax once they’re asleep). The beach here is a standout for families — calm, clear, and perfect for early morning sand play — and the pool setup is equally ideal, with shallow areas and attentive service that makes long, leisurely days feel effortless. What really elevates Montage for a Jetset Christina family is the level of service: they’re incredibly thoughtful with kids (cribs, high chairs, baby amenities all seamlessly handled), while still delivering that elevated, design-forward, ultra-luxury experience parents want. It’s one of those rare places where you don’t feel like you’re compromising — it’s just as much a dream vacation for you as it is easy with a toddler.

Chileno Bay Resort & Residences
Next on the list is Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, which is another great choice for kiddos for your next trip to Cabo. This is the ultimate resort where families can dive into the clear waters of the Sea of Cortez, and a must-visit for snorkelers and swimmers of all ages. Their resort has a Pescaditos Kids Club that offers eco-friendly crafts and educational adventures allowing kids to explore and learn all about the natural beauty of Baja. Parents, meanwhile, can indulge in the spa (it was incredible!!!).
Chileno Bay’s rooms range from spacious one- and two-bedroom suites to expansive villas, ensuring families of any size find their perfect fit. And you’ll see families everywhere at this resort!! My toddler’s favorite part was the beach, where there was a basketball hoop and more activities for him to join in on. Chileno Bay offers tons of of activities to choose from like snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking available right at your doorstep. Other unique experiences includes surf expeditions, sunrise stand-up paddle boarding, and a desert canyon adventure.

Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection
Lastly, Esperanza, an Auberge Resort is renowned for its luxury accommodations, exquisite dining options, and breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez, making it a sought-after destination for families looking for that blend of relaxation and adventure in Los Cabos. It’s a family-friendly luxury resort I highly recommend because of the privacy it offers where kids can run freely. They also offer complimentary kids’ meals and club activities during the summer to flexible accommodation options and babysitting services. What I love most is the dedicated kids and teens’ clubs, along with activities like stand-up paddleboarding and guided cycling excursions that kids (and even parents) will absolutely enjoy!
