This island offers an upscale experience that makes it a top pick for a girls’ trip and combines French sophistication with Caribbean ease, creating a jet-set vibe that’s perfect for a girls’ trip filled with shopping, spa days, and sunsets on stunning beaches. From designer shops to gourmet restaurants, and vibrant nightlife, there’s plenty to do. For the group that wants to channel their inner Parisian while living out their ultimate beach fantasy, Cheval Blanc St-Barths is pure perfection. Owned by LVMH (yes, as in Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), this resort is flawless in every detail, from the plush white linens to the sun-kissed beachfront loungers. The resort sits on Flamands Beach, one of the most stunning beaches on the island, where you and your girls can sip champagne in the sand before retreating to the world-class Cheval Blanc Spa for some next-level pampering. This place is all about understated elegance, so expect impeccable service, dreamy oceanfront suites, and the kind of chic, minimalist luxury that makes every moment Instagram-worthy.

It’s renowned for its personal service and attention to detail, whether that’s in its spa treatments or its dining offerings. The Best Caribbean Island for Family Vacations
Turks & Caicos
Famous for its endless stretches of sandy beaches and some of the clearest waters you’ve ever seen, Turks & Caicos is ideal for families with young children. The shallow, calm waters make it a worry-free zone for parents with toddlers, while older kids can enjoy a variety of water sports. The island boasts some of the world’s most beautiful beaches with soft sand and crystal-clear waters, perfect for little ones. There are many resorts in Turks and Caicos that are family-friendly with kids’ clubs, water parks, and family-friendly dining options. The island’s calm waters and variety of activities keep the whole family entertained.
Where to Stay: The Palms Turks & Caicos is best for families venturing to Turks and Caicos. This beautiful resort is also located on the pristine shores of Grace Bay, and offers spacious accommodations and an array of activities such as canoeing, diving, tennis (yes, they have a tennis court!) and even a Kid’s Club that is sure to keep everyone entertained. The Best Caribbean Island for Adventure & Relaxation
British Virgin Islands
For those who love a mix of adventure and relaxation, the British Virgin Islands are a perfect choice. The islands are ideal for sailing, snorkeling, and exploring secluded coves, then unwinding in world-class spas and beachfront accommodations. The British Virgin Islands is notoriously hard to get to, which is what makes them so stunningly unspoiled. Cruise ships can’t dock in the harbors, so sailboats and private yachts are the only ones who enjoy the islands.

The Best Caribbean Island for a Babymoon
Anguilla
Anguilla is a tranquil and beautiful destination for a babymoon. The island’s laid-back atmosphere and stunning beaches provide the perfect setting for relaxation before welcoming a new family member. My babymoon in Anguilla was one of the best in my bucket list! It’s THE perfect babymoon destination that should be on your next travel list! Plus, you can travel directly from Miami to Anguilla on American Airlines, super convenient for pregnant mommas!
Where to Stay: When it comes to high-end resorts in the Caribbean, no destination beats Anguilla! Resorts like Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel offer luxurious accommodations and pampering for expectant parents. What I love about the resort is that is everything!! – four restaurants, a cocktail bar and lounge, a five-star spa, and a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The biggest benefit to Cap Juluca is its beach which you can just walk directly from outside of your hotel room – and is easily the most beautiful beach on the island!!! Another Great option is the Malliouhana, Auberge Resorts Collection where we stayed stayed for the second half of our babymoon. The resort’s decor is insanely chic, and we had the best rooms ever, with a huge oceanfront balcony. This place has a ton of old-school character and glam (it was the first luxury resort on the island) and I was a big fan of their brightly-colored umbrellas, gorgeous infinity pools (one for families, one for adults) and beautiful ocean views.
And you need the Anguilla print for your trip of course!
The Best Caribbean Island for a Romantic Getaway or Honeymoon
St. Lucia
St. Lucia is the quintessential destination for romance and relaxation. With its stunning lush tropical landscape, it’s an idyllic backdrop for couples. Whether you’re enjoying a spa day or sunset sails, St. Lucia creates unforgettable memories for honeymooners and romantic travelers alike.

Each ‘sanctuary’ suite has dreamy architecture, and incredible views of the mountains and the Caribbean Sea directly from your room. This adult-only resort is also famous for its infinity pools that seem to blend right into the ocean horizon, private romantic dinners under the stars, and exceptional service that makes every couple feel like they are the only guests. The blend of natural Caribbean charm and architectural innovation set this resort apart, making it an absolute paradise.

The Bahamas
The Bahamas, particularly Baha Mar, is excellent for multi-generational trips. The short flight from the US makes it super convenient for families with young kids or older family members, and the all-inclusive options make planning a breeze!!
Where to Stay: Depending on what island in the Bahamas you are heading to, the Bahamas has great resort/hotel options. With accommodations ranging from the luxurious Four Seasons Ocean Club to the more budget-friendly Grand Hyatt and the trendy SLS Baha Mar, there’s something for everyone! The Best Caribbean Island for a Birthday or Anniversary Trip
Aruba
One of the most beautiful spots in the Caribbean, I went here to celebrate my birthday and it was the perfect island getaway. With its stunning white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and year-round sunshine, it’s a paradise for beach bums (like me!). Plus, Aruba has a vibrant nightlife, with beachfront bars and lively casinos making birthday nights super fun. And don’t forget the flamingos! Plus, getting on the island is super easy, making it a hassle-free destination for gathering friends and family. For a birthday you’ll never forget, Aruba is the place to be!
Where to Stay: For an unforgettable experience, celebrate your special occasion and stay at the Ritz-Carlton for top-notch service and comfort. They have one of the most beautiful resort pools on the island, and servers who serve you your drink on beach segways!! The Bahamas – Harbour Island
For a group trip that mixes relaxation with boutique charm, Harbour Island in the Bahamas is a top choice. We recently went to Harbour Island for group/family trip and this small island did not disappoint! It truly is the “Nantucket of the Caribbean” with it’s laid back vibes, New England-like coastal charm and trendy hot spots like that of Nantucket. Don’t forget some of the most stunning beaches in the Caribbean can also be found in Harbour Island.

Where to Stay: Book your rooms at The Dunmore Beach Hotel a luxurious coastal boutique gem of a hotel, the iconic Pink Sands Hotel with rustic island charm, or the Coral Sands Hotel for that boutique, low-key beach vibes. If you’re traveling with a large group, renting the best luxury villas on Harbour Island is the best option. You can get all hotel-like amenities that includes a complete gym, a beachfront deck, or even a dreamy private pool to swim in!! Check out these perfect VRBO villas with stunning views, the ultimate luxe privacy, and complete amenities.
The Bahamas – Baha Mar
For a FUN, hip, lively group trip destination, look no further than Baha Mar. The resort area of Baha Mar on paradise island features 4 resorts to choose from – my favorite pick for a group trip would be the SLS. Baha Mar is more than just a resort – it’s like a luxe cruise ship on land – a mini-metropolis with over 40 restaurants and bars, the Caribbean’s largest casino, and a stunning array of pools that cater to both family fun and serene solitude. It’s kind of like being on a cruise ship on land, in the best way. The pools are GORGEOUS (and there are aquariums and waterfalls galore), and there’s always something fun to do.

Grenada
Known as the “Spice Island,” Grenada is sure to give you the most memorable setting for a destination wedding or a group vacation. Its lush rainforests, pristine beaches, and super welcoming culture make it a great destination.

Where to Stay: Silversands Grenada is a gem that’s located on the Grand Anse Beach. Its minimalist design with sleek lines and a stunning infinity pool—the longest in the Caribbean—creates a modern yet warm ambiance that’s perfect for group gatherings!!! They also have eight amazing private pool villas that’s highly recommend if you’re traveling with a group to the Caribbean! We stayed here for our friend’s wedding and it was PERFECT! The villas and suites are designed to offer both privacy and group events, catering to both couples and larger parties. Its spa, using local spices, offers unique treatments that can soothe any pre-wedding jitters or post-travel fatigue.
The Best Caribbean Island On A Budget
Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic is a fantastic option for travelers on a budget without compromising on that luxe experience. This travel destination has lots of affordable resorts, beautiful beaches, and activities, providing the best value if you’re traveling on a budget! Punta Cana, a resortey, destination in the Dominican republic is one of the best Caribbean island paradises for this type of trips. It’s located on the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic, is famous for its 40 miles of breathtaking beaches, lush tropical palms, and gorgeous clear blue waters! It has over 200 all-inclusive resorts you can choose from that will definitely cater to your needs (and budget!)
Where to Stay: Destinations like Punta Cana and Samana offer all-inclusive options that cater to every need without breaking the bank. Stay at El Carmen, a very chic, adults-only all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana that boasts 22 pools, super-spacious suites, and gorgeous resort facilities everywhere you look!! It never feels crowded, with tons of spacious, open areas (my favorite area to hang out in was the skybar, this gorgeous area overlooking the beach and pool where no one ever was!) And the highlight of the resort is absolutely the rooms, which are your own private honeymoon oasis. Highly recommend any of the room categories with a private pool!
