Four Seasons Preferred Partner is an invitation-only program for a select group of top luxury travel agencies. SmartFlyer is one of them, so as a SmartFlyer advisor I can book Preferred Partner rates with VIP perks at Four Seasons hotels and resorts around the world.
Your perks are tied to the Preferred Partner rate, so I always compare it against the hotel's other rates for your dates and book whichever gives you the best value. You still pay the hotel directly. Your reservation just goes in with my name on it, so I'm the one following up on your room, your upgrade and your requests before you arrive.

What to look for
How to Find the Best Four Seasons Travel Advisor
This is the question I get asked most, so here's what I'd look for (and what I hold myself to).
First, make sure your advisor is actually in the Preferred Partner program. It's the only way these perks get added to your stay. Second, ask whether they've stayed at the hotel. I've stayed at Four Seasons Maui, Bora Bora, Hualalai, Palm Beach and Silicon Valley, and I know the room categories well enough to steer you away from the wrong one. At Four Seasons Maui, for example, I skip the Mountainside rooms and start my clients at Garden View.
Third, pick someone who answers you quickly and jumps in when something goes sideways mid-trip. A great advisor is your person on the ground before you even land.
