The Top 10 Restaurants in New York City You Can’t Miss

I’ve already given y’all the ultimate New York City restaurant master list, but even if you visit NYC regularly, it would be tough to hit all 100+! If you are planning a trip to New York City, you need to plan out where you are going to eat in advance. NYC restaurants are notoriously hard to get into, especially the good ones. Most places start taking reservations one month in advance, and if you are even one day late to the game, you aren’t getting in (yes, seriously!).

So for those of you who are heading to the city in the near future, set your alarms and Resy notifications. These are the top 10 restaurants in New York City that you absolutely cannot miss, whether you’re in New York for a girls trip, a couple’s getaway, a family vacay, or a trip with friends!!

 1. The Polo Bar

Polo Bar is owned by Ralph Lauren, and the food and drinks are just as good as the style! When you go, you have to start with the caviar and potatoes – such a treat! And if you can’t get in for dinner, it is 100% worth it to have a cocktail here.

2. Le Bernardin

If you love French food and Michelin-starred restaurants, Le Bernardin will be a winner for you. This restaurant was rated three-star on The Michelin Guide and four-star by the New York Times!!

3. Temple Court on Ten

Located on the tenth floor of The Beekman Hotel in Lower Manhattan is Temple Court on Ten. As soon as you walk into this gorgeous restaurant, you are transported to a secret garden filled with some of the best-smelling (and tasting) food in the city! Order the four-course chef’s selection when you dine here. Trust me!

4. COTE Korean Steakhouse

Korean Barbeque is something you should experience at least once in your life, and this is the only Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse in the world! Be sure to order a ton of different cuts of beef here. It’s what they’re known for!

ATOMIX was rated the #1 restaurant in the U.S. and #33 in the world. If that doesn’t convince you to go, I don’t know what will!!! You 100% have to get the chef’s tasting menu here. It’s a splurge, but if you’re going to experience ATOMIX, you need to go all out!

6. Carbone

I know, I know… Carbone is kind of basic. But it’s popular for a reason!! Celebrities, locals, and tourists all love this Italian hot spot in SoHo. If you can get a reservation, take it!! They are suuuuper hard to come by.

7. Alice

I recently discovered Alice on a girls’ trip to New York City, and I am in love!! Alice is located in the West Village (my all-time favorite NYC neighborhood) and serves Italian and seafood cuisine.

The food. The art. The vibes. Buddha-Bar has everything you could ever want, and it’s located in one of the hottest NYC neighborhoods, Tribeca! An absolute must while you are in the city. It remains one of my favs.

I’m not sure what I love most about SAGA – the food, the wine, the view… I mean, you really can’t go wrong! SAGA is a newer restaurant in the Financial District featuring European cuisine. If you go, get the chef’s tasting (priced at $245 per person)!

10. The River Cafe

Ahhh, The River Cafe. This place is a New York City staple! One of the most high-end established restaurants in all of NYC. It’s located in Brooklyn, so you’ll have to cross the bridge to enjoy its offerings, but trust me, it’s worth it! This place is good for any meal – just get in whenever you can.
