The Best Family-Friendly Hotels to Stay with a Baby or a Toddler

The Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, Hawaii

Aloha, paradise! One of the world’s best hotels and definitely one of my personal favorites (did you know I got married here?!) these days, we LOVE getting back as a family because the FS Maui is a tropical dream for kids and adults alike! Kids can play in the beautiful kids pools that are baby and toddler-friendly and feature a waterfall, and even a little kids waterslide. And if your little one is old enough, don’t forget to take a family snorkeling trip – there are sooo many turtles here! You can even view them right from the shore outside of FS Maui standing with your toddler if they’re not old enough to swim! So fun.

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, Hawaii

Traveling to the Big Island in Hawaii is always so much fun. It’s definitely one of my top recommendations for which island to visit in Hawaii. The FS Hualalai blends luxury with natural beauty in such a unique and wonderful way. It also has a 1.8-million gallon aquarium lagoon, which offers snorkeling with over 4,000 tropical fish—a magical experience for toddlers and kids!!!!! The complimentary Kids For All Seasons program entertains with culturally immersive activities for the little ones, too. I highhhhly recommend this hotel for families traveling with a toddler to Hawaii – you will LOVE it.

Ask for a ground-floor room for super easy stroller access to the beach. Book here.

Aulani Disney Resort Hawaii

Where Hawaiian culture and Disney magic meet, Aulani Resort is certainly the best for family vacations. Complete with pools, waterslides, and a lazy river, plus character experiences that bring smiles to the little ones, Aulani is a must visit! Don’t forget to add to your itinerary Aunty’s Beach House which offers educational and engaging activities, granting parents those extra moments of blissful relaxation.

Hotel del Coronado, San Diego CA

With its iconic red turrets and sprawling sandy beaches, Hotel del Coronado is a dream for families seeking sun, sea, and sand. The DelVenture program for kids turns the beach and hotel grounds into a giant playground and you can even roast s’mores on the beach!!

The quieter, newer Cabana rooms are perfect for families needing a peaceful retreat after a day of fun in the sun. Book here.

Four Seasons Palm Beach, Orlando FL

Our trip to the Four Seasons in Palm Beach with our little one was absolutely wonderful!!! This place is great for families, but it still feels fancy and special. Everything about the resort, from the way it looks to its interior, to the little touches everywhere screams Palm Beach luxury! The staff also made us feel welcome right from the start, the ocean views were AMAZING and we loved everything from the food to the swimming pools and our room. They also offer a “Toddler Room” perfect for little ones to play and discover as much as they like. Plus, the family pool is great for fun splashes and comes with beautiful views of the ocean. Harrison had a blast!! Book here.

Four Seasons Orlando at Disney World

We LOVED this hotel – and no one more than my toddler!!!! (literally, he said he liked it even better than our trip to Bora Bora, LOL). Here at FS Orlando, your kiddos can breakfast with Mickey, Goofy, & friends, splash around in a water wonderland, and you can all end the day hitting the hay in cloud-soft beds. The oasis-like pools and cabanas are a great way to chill for the afternoon. And there’s an AMAZING splash pad for littles that my son could not get enough of!!!! And for an extra sprinkle of magic, consider booking a suite with views of the nightly fireworks!! Harrison certainly enjoyed his time here during our recent visit to Disney World.

Wild Dunes Resort, Charleston SC

Located about 30 minutes outside of Charleston, on Isle of Palms, Wild Dunes is one of our favorite spots near Charleston and a great place to stay for the beach! The property is exceptionally family-friendly, and features 2 championship golf courses, five pools to choose from, and a gorgeous signature spa. There’s even a playground located within Isle of Palms Wild Dunes Resort, where you can enjoy several slides and swings to play for hours on end! Nestled right behind Woody’s Eatery, be sure to stop in for a refreshing drink or snack in between playtime.

Wild Dunes is a family-friendly resort where Southern charm meets seaside serenity. Consider staying in one of the beachfront properties for direct access to the ocean and evenings filled with the soothing sounds of the waves. And your toddler or kids will LOVE the family pools – they are amazing, and busy in the summer!!!

The resort’s calendar is packed with family-friendly events year-round. Check it out before your visit to align your stay with special festivals or kid-friendly activities.

The Sanctuary at Kiawah, Charleston SC

Located about 45 minutes outside of Charleston is this gorgeous Kiawah Island Resort.  This Santuary lives up to its name, feeling like a relaxed, quiet oasis outside of the city. Golfers will love the award-winning PGA Championship golf course, and beach-lovers will flock to their picture-perfect Carolina coastline. You can rent bikes from their rental center just off of the lobby, and ride them all along the beach and around the island.  The sand is even hard and flat enough that you can ride one of the resort’s complimentary bikes right on the edge of the waves.

For families that love the beach, this resort is a great choice for a South Carolina getaway on the coast. The Sanctuary will make your family feel like royalty! They also have “Kamp Kiawah” for kids which is so cute.

Sea Island – Cloister Resort and The Lodge, Sea Island, GA

Sea Island, with its enchanting Cloister and The Lodge, is this magical slice of Georgia that guarantees the best adventures and relaxation for the whole family! They even have a beach club. and it’s just not any beach club. It has everything from an adult-only lap pool to a kiddo-friendly splash zone. Picture your little ones giggling under palm-shaded baby pools or whooshing down water slides, while you lounge by the side, cocktail in hand. It’s the family beach day dream!
