The Ambiance
The ambiance at the KUBE is laid back elegance. The contemporary geometric design adds to a sophisticated stylish experience throughout the entire hotel. With views of the beautiful French hillsides on one side, and the gorgeous yacht harbor on the other, you’re sure to feel at home in this exclusive mini-resort.
The Rooms
The rooms of the KUBE epitomize sleek, contemporary comfort. From the white walls to the gorgeous views of the gardens, the pool, and the sea, these rooms are meant for cocooning into vacation relaxation. Each spacious room or suite comes equipped with free WiFi, flat-screened satellite TV, and an iPod dock.
The Food
The food at KUBE is top notch. Here, your day starts with a complimentary breakfast buffet, which was easily a highlight of our day, complete with to-die-for croissants, pain au chocolat, fresh scrambled eggs, berries, juices and more. At lunch, you can order poolside favorites like a delicious burger or a club, and at dinner, KUBE offers a delicious Peruvian-fusion restaurant called 1K, with an amazingly contemporary tropical vibe and a summery, colorful and healthy menu. Perfect for a vacay meal. There is also a separate main hotel restaurant, with a gorgeous setting and a menu featuring more traditional French and Italian and seafood items.
The Drinks
Ah the pool bar. The scene is relaxed, yet chic. The perfect relaxing beginnings before heading over to one of the beach clubs later in the day. We thoroughly enjoyed Portugal-trained bartender Jamie’s unbelievable mixology, from a blackberry and green apple blended vodka drink, to a fresh passion fruit daquiri, to a fresh mango and caramel-infused frozen concoction. It was unbelievable how delicious everything he whipped up was. “Bartender’s choice” never tasted so good.
The Service
The service at the Kube was outstanding. Consistently upbeat hotel workers happily greet you by name, yet simultaneously leave you to your privacy. The concierge is unbelievably helpful, able to book hard-to-get reservations and tickets at the drop of a hat, and the drivers driving the complimentary shuttle to the city center are wonderfully knowledgable and able to give recommendations as well.
