The 6 Cruises You Must Take in 2019
With Cyber Week in full swing, and travel deals everywhere, it’s an amazing time to start planning your 2019 travels! As you guys know, I love luxury cruises. I think there’s no better way to see as many places as you can in one trip, and love the idea of my hotel being my transportation in seeing all the places I want, rather than worrying about getting from place to place (and unpacking/packing every time!). But, choosing a cruise line and destination can be overwhelming! So I wanted to break down a few of my favorites out there this year.

These are the 6 cruises on my 2019 vacation wish list
The Greek Isles
Celebrity Cruise Line’s 10-night Greek Isles cruise on Celebrity Constellation, starts and finishes in Venice, Italy, with an itinerary that European summer vacation dreams are made of. With magical ports like Venice, Santorini and Mykonos, as well as a stop in Dubrovnik, Croatia, this Mediterranean cruise will cross many top 2019 destinations off your list.
Bora Bora & French Polynesia
My first time to Bora Bora and French Polynesia was on a cruise, and I’m so glad I did it that way. I highly recommend sailing as a way to see more of French Polynesia than you would get to see if you just stuck to one destination! You can also tack on a few nights at the beginning or end to do an overwater bungalow (because how can you go to French Polynesia and not!?) or you can just call the boat your big overwater bungalow 🙂
Bermuda & New England
If you haven’t yet checked Bermuda off your bucket list, 2019 is the year, and a cruise is the perfect opportunity to do so. Celebrity’s Summit ship does a 7 night cruise from Cape Liberty, NJ (accessible from the NY metro), to Bermuda, and back, with three days in Bermuda. You’ll soak up the sun and the warm, turquoise blue water, and feel like you’re so much further away than just off the east coast. This is an easy getaway, and a perfect spring vacation. Celebrity has been named the Best Premium Cruise Line by Travel Weekly, and is one of the industry’s leaders in luxury cruising. They would be my choice for a perfect Bermuda week-long cruise.
Southeast Asia
This 7-night cruise hits so many Southeast Asia hotspots – like Singapore, Hong Kong, and 3 stops in Vietnam. It’s a great way to see a lot of Southeast Asia, and I’d recommend tacking on another week before or after the trip, as well! For example, you could do Bali for a week, then fly to Singapore, pick up the boat, and fly home after Hong Kong.
South America
South America is magical – and the best way to see AS MUCH of it as possible, is to board a cruise that will take you to a bunch of different ports. I love this 12-night Oceania cruise on Sirena – a ship I’ve been on and is so beautiful- because it focuses on Brazil and Argentina, with ports of Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Punta del Este, Rio Grande, Porto Belo, Sao Paulo, Parati, Ihla Grande, Buzios, and Rio De Janeiro. Talk about a dream itinerary!!
South Caribbean
With ports of call like Aruba, Bonaire, St. Croix, St. Thomas, and the British Virgin Islands, it’s tough to beat a Southern Caribbean cruise – especially if you’re looking for a last-minute winter getaway (the best weather in the Caribbean is during our winter!!)
Wherever you sail this year, have a blast!! And let me know what your favorite cruises have been in the comments! XO
Haley
My dream this year is to go on a Greek cruise.
Cressinia
Your second suggestion, the South Pacific, has risen to the top of my bucket list, so I hoping to snag a great cruise deal on Black Friday (29th November this year)!
