Healthy Ranch Dressing Recipe – Fresh, Easy Greek Yogurt Ranch

I don’t know about you guys but I crave a good salad with fresh, zingy ranch dressing. I LOVE ranch, yall. I’ll dip veggies in it, fries in it, and even pizza in it. It’s a way of life, and one of the biggest things I miss when I’m traveling outside of America!

Seriously, did you guys know you can NEVER find ranch dressing abroad? So, while spending months in places like Bali and Colombia, I’ve had to get creative in making it myself, and let me just say, this recipe will have you ditching traditional, fatty, mayonnaise-ridden ranch FOREVER in place of this healthy, easy ranch dressing alternative.

This is the perfected healthy ranch dressing that I live off of, both abroad, and at home in the USA. 

Healthy Ranch Dressing Recipe

Healthy Ranch Dressing Recipe

This easy, delicious healthy take on fresh ranch dressing is perfect for salads or dipping anything into! It uses greek yogurt and fresh herbs and is only 25 calories per serving!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup dill
  • 1/4 cup italian parsley
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp sherry vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoons almond milk (or regular milk, or buttermilk)
  • 1 pinch of sea salt and fresh cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients together. I like to place all ingredients in a mason jar and use my Braun hand blender (seriously the best tool in the kitchen!)

Notes

Feel free to play around with the amounts to your taste! Sometimes I'm craving a little more lemon, or a little more dill.

I love using buttermilk in this recipe but I don't always have it on hand.

Sometimes I use garlic powder in place of garlic cloves - about 2 tsp

Use this dressing for a big salad, or for dipping veggies (or even pizza) into.

Add avocado for a creamy addition, or a little chipotle and the zest of lime.

Add more greek yogurt for a thicker, dip consistency, and less for a more liquid consistency.
