Packing for Travel: What’s always in my travel bag

Since sometimes it can feel like I’m living on an airplane, I’m always stuffing all of my essentials into my carry-on bags. My current obsession is my new Lo & Sons Pearl Crossbody, which is the perfect travel bag to fit everything I need, and still look stylish at the airport. Here are the things I never leave home without when I’m traveling:

1. A water bottle

I’ll always pack a water bottle in my purse to stay hydrated and fresh while traveling. I’ll drink it before security, and then refill it at a water fountain once I’m at the gate. This saves money (no one wants to spend $6 on a water bottle at an airport news-stand) and ensures my skin and body stay hydrated throughout my flight.

2. Headphones & chargers

Headphones are a must for me as I’m always catching up on TV shows and movies on the plane. And I always keep an iphone charger handy (and adapter if I’m traveling abroad).  I’m currently obsessed with these gold ear buds ( Happy Plugs Gold Ear Buds )

3. A book

Is anyone else as obsessed with Crazy Rich Asians as I am right now? So. So. Good.

I always keep a book in my carry on purse for reading on planes & trains. There’s really nothing that makes a trip better than having the perfect book to go with it.

4. A watch

When you’re traveling abroad, I like to always have a watch on me rather than just trusting my iPhone (which can get tricky when you’re in the air and crossing time zones). My current fave is this new British company Wolsch that makes chic watches that are perfect for jet-setting – I’m obsessed with my black and gold one!

5. Moisturizer

I’m obsessed with Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream. It’s the perfect travel moisturizer for staying fresh on busy travel days and I love the way it makes my face feel rose-petal-soft.

6. My iPhone

How can I miss a moment to Snapchat or Instagram? My iPhone is always on me. Pictured here in my favorite Mark & Graham monogrammed white with gold case.

7.  Lipgloss

My favorite is Yves Saint Laurent Volupte Tint In Oil in peach me love. On a busy travel day, the last thing you want to think about is makeup, so I keep it really simple with this go-to tinted gloss, some cover up foundation, and a highlighter. The Yves Saint Laurent tint in oil is smooth, smells amazing, and feels more like a lip balm than a gloss, since it’s oil-based, making it really good for your lips.

8. Cover up & a Highlighter

Like I said before, the last thing I want to think about on a long travel day is makeup, but I also want to look presentable and cute when I arrive in my destination. Enter Bobbi Brown Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Stick
and this amazing BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed – Moonstone highlighter. They are my go-tos and are both conveniently travel-sized to fit perfectly in your purse.

9. Passport

I always keep my passport in my purse while traveling to keep it safe and to always have internationally-accepted identification on me.

10. Sunglasses

I don’t go anywhere without at least one pair of sunnies. Right now these Ray Ban aviators are my faves and they’re on sale for only $68! Ray-Ban Gold/Blue Mirrored Aviators
